Duties of the Officers

  • The president will call and preside at all business and committee meetings.  He or she will appoint the chair of all committees.  The president is responsible for the reports of the secretary and treasurer at the annual meeting.  The president may sign checks (if a proper signatory) in the treasurer’s absence.

  • The vice-president will assist the president and preside at meetings in the absence of the president.

  • The secretary will record the minutes of each business and committee meeting and will be responsible for correspondence of the Social Committee.  The secretary will prepare the Annual Activity Report.

  • The treasurer will keep a record of all monies received and spent and will sign checks for the Committee.  The treasurer will receive all money collected in the name of the Committee.  The treasurer will prepare the required Annual Treasurer’s Report.
